design of a parcel file and an equipment control file. These are not, however,
designed to be Integrated with any of the other files.

Computoservice~s procedure for future applications development is to depend upon
the expressed needs of current municipal users (approximately 16) and the
anticipated marketability of the application. They' are willing to sign a letter of
intent for the development of some of the applications requested in the Bid
Specifications as part of the contract negotiation process.

Planninl Data Center: Meeting and brief demonstration, 1.17.84, with John
Sanger, President; at Planning Data Center. (Note: Hardware and some
preliminary software applications were demonstrated at an earlier stage in this
selection process.)

Planning Data Center has the strongest background in-planning and public works
of any of the vendors, but substantially less experience in finance and
administration. They are strongly committed to the future development of nearly
all of the applications requested by the City and were able to attach dates to
some of the applications. They have completed various levels of designs for most
of the applications, but none of the integrated files have been fully 'developed
yet.

Future application development depends upon a contractual commitment by the
City and anticipated future contracts with other municipalities. They are willing
t° sign a letter 'of intent for the development of some of the applications
requested in the Bid Specifications, as part of the contract negotiation process.

Tele-Terminals: Meeting and brief demonstration, 1o18.84, with Kay Halvorson,
Sales Representative, Jeff Swanson, Software Development, and Tom Miller,
specialist for their financial software, at Tele-Terminals. (Note: Hardware and
software was demonstrated at an earlier stage in this selection process.)

Tele-Terminals has existing software applications in finance, planning,
administration and public works, but not as many as the other vendors (see
comments above). For all of the requested software applications, they expressed
a strong commitment to either develop the specific application or devise a way
to achieve the same results with minor modifications to or alternative uses of
existing software.

Future applications development depends on a strong working relationship with
existing municipal users (currently two, Fridley and Marshall), and the
anticipated marketability of the application. They are willing to sigh a letter of
intent for the development of some of the applications requested in the Bid
Specifications as part of the contract negotiation process.

Ramsey.
