Motion by Commissioner Kociscak, seconded by Commissioner Nixt, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Kociscak, Nixt, Dempsey, <br />Jensen, Johnson, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:06 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Nixt, to recommend City <br />Council amend and adopt the Findings of Fact in the affirmative, as they relate to Dennis and <br />Bonita Cobey's request for a conditional use permit for a private dog kennel for four adult dogs. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, Nixt, Dempsey, <br />Jensen, Kociscak, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the terms of the permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Kociscak, to recommend City <br />Council approve the Cobey's request for a conditional use permit to maintain four adult dogs at <br />9340 Highway #10 NW, based on the findings of fact, and declaring terms of same as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, Kociscak, <br />Dempsey, Jensen, Nixt, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson stated it was his understanding that the Planning Commission should be <br />adopting Findings of Fact and forwarding them to the City Council with their recommendation, <br />rather than recommending City Council approve and adopt the Findings of Fact.
