Case

REVIEW STREET ASSESSMENT POLICY
By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development Director

Background/Observations:

On May 1, 1990, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission during it's discussion of
declassifying MSA designation to Dysprosium Street N.W. in Flintwood Hills P.U.D. discussed
the situation where residents impact the design of thoroughfare streets. Commissioner Deemer
stated that the City assessment policy should require resident participation in the cost of
constructing and maintaining MSA roads. Planning Assistant Frolik stated that there is some
resident participation in the cost of MSA roads and that this information would be provided to the
Commission.
