the terms and provisions of Subd. 5., relating to vaccination for rabies, and upon payment of a <br />fee as established by City Council resolution, the Administrator or his or her designee shall issue <br />a license. Said license shall expire two (2) years from the date of the most recent rabies <br />vaccination. <br /> <br />Amend Subd. 4 "Tags" to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Subd. 4. Tags. The license shall be in the form of an identification tag and <br />shall be affixed by the owner to a collar to be worn by the dog. In case a tag is lost or destroyed, <br />a duplicate will be issued by the Administrator upon presentation of a receipt showing payment <br />of the license fee for the current period and a payment as established by City Council resolution. <br />Dog tags shall not be transferable from one dog to another and no refunds shall be made on any <br />dog license fee because of death of the dog or the owners leaving the City prior to expiration of <br />the license period. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance #99-16, which has been approved by the <br />City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 5.09.03 (Dog Regulations) shall be amended to provide the opportunity for <br />administrative kennel licenses to keep three (3) dogs on a property, and amend or add definitions <br />for commercial dog kennel, private dog kennel, boarding, dog, and dog owner. <br /> <br />SECTION 4.
