Section 10. Amendment. That Chapter 9, §9.20.03, Districts shall be o_mended to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />9.20.03 Districts. For the purpose of this chapter, the City of Ramsey is <br />divided in the following zoning districts. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. R-1R Residential: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate single family dwelling units on suitable land outside of the Urban <br />Service Area of the City. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. R-1U Residential: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate single family dwelling units in the Urban Area of the City. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. R-2U Residential: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate two family dwelling units in the Urban Area of the City. <br /> <br /> Sub(14. R-3U Residential: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate multiple dwellings, multiple dwelling complexes, and apartment <br />multiple dwellings (and office and commercial developments in accordance with <br />planned unit development requirements) in the Urban Area of the City. <br /> <br /> Sub(k 5. MR Multiple Residential: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate mid-density residential housing (and office and commercial <br />developments in accordance with planned unit development requirements) <br />intended to act as a transition use between lower density residential districts and <br />the B-I and B-2 Business Districts. <br /> <br /> Sub(l 6. H,1 Business District: The intent of the B-l, Business <br />District is to provide for areas of commercial development which accommodate <br />shopper type goods and services as contrasted to auto oriented highway <br />commercial activities. <br /> <br /> Sub(l 7. B-2 Business District: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate certain restricted business uses to act as a transition between <br />intense nonresidential districts and residential districts. These uses are to <br />provide services and goods only for the surrounding neighborhoods and are not <br />intended to draw customers from the entire community. <br /> <br /> Sub& 8. B-3 Highway Business District. The Intent of the B-3, <br />Highway Business District is to provide for and limit the establishment of motor <br />vehicle oriented or dependent and convenience type, high intensity commercial <br />and service activities characteristically located along major traffic carriers. <br /> <br /> Sub& 9. B-W Business/Warehousing District. The Intent of the "B- <br />W", Business/Warehousing District is to provide for the mix of typically large <br />volumes or bulk commercial goods and services, and wholesale/warehouse <br />activities. The overall character of the "B-W" District is intended to be transitional <br />in nature, thus industrial type of activities allowed within this district shall be <br />limited to those which can compatibly exist with and be adjacent to commercial <br />retail uses. <br /> <br />Ord. 90-23 Final 11/13/90 Page 34 <br /> <br /> <br />
