Property previously assessed for a permanent street will be given <br />full credit and will not be assessed for the M.S.A. project_being <br />assessed. <br /> <br />Property previously assessed for a partial street will be given <br />credit for the amount previously paid converted to current dollar <br />value by the ENR Index. <br /> <br />If at a later date a lot or parcel is split or subdivided, each <br />new lot will be assessed a unit cost/adjusted. <br /> <br />Formula for assessing typical street cost as part of a M.S.A. street <br />project: <br /> <br />(typical street cost) x (benefit factor) - (previous assessments/ <br />current value) = amount to be assessed for typical street. <br /> <br />M.S.A. Street/County Road Cost Apportionment Formula: <br /> <br />Total cost of improvement - amount to be assessed for typical <br />street = M.S.A. Construction Fund Obligation. <br /> <br />210.016 <br /> <br />POLICIES RELATING TO LATERAL EXTENSIONS <br /> <br />210. O16A <br /> <br />EXISTING SUBDIVISIONS <br /> <br />No lateral service shall be extended to any existing subdivision until such time <br />as service is required to elimi~ate a public health hazard and trunk service is <br />available and has been assessed to the subject property. At such time as trunk <br />service is available, laterals may be extended as follows: <br /> <br />1. By petition of one hundred percent (100%) of the affected land owners; <br /> <br />2. By City Council action as provided for under the laws of Chapter <br /> 429. <br /> <br />210.016B <br /> <br />UNSUBDIVIDED LAND <br /> <br />No lateral service shall be extended to any unsubdivided lands until such time <br />as the following criteria have been met: <br /> <br />1. Trunk service is available and has been assessed. <br /> <br />2. The subject property shall be platted in accordance with the <br /> subdivision regulations of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Lateral service may be extended to areas where trunk service is not <br />available if the petitioners agrees to pay all the costs for necessary <br />trunk extensions on an interim basis and subdivide the property in <br />accordance with b. above. <br /> <br /> <br />
