to flow into or pass into the same, and said owner, agent, <br />occupant or other person as aforesaid, shall when directed by <br />the Council or its designated representative, within five <br />days after notice in writing to that effect, provide his <br />drain with sufficient cesspool ow catch basin and shall <br />immediately provide such other means as shall prevent any <br />substance or matter from passing into the drain or sanitary <br />sewer which may cause a deposit or obstruction therein. <br /> <br />3. In case of neglect or refusal to provide a cesspool or <br />catch basin, or to clean out or repair or alter such drain, <br />for the space of five days, the Council or its designated <br />representative shall cause ths same to be repaired, altered, <br />cleaned and provided with such other means to prevent any <br />substances or matter from passing into the sanitary sewer or <br />drain that may cause a deposit or obstruction therein as they <br />may deem expedient, at the expense of the owner, agent, <br />occupant, or other person having charge of the premises. <br /> <br />4. The service pipe to the watermain and the connection <br />thereto shall be the property of the owner of the premises <br />and must be protected and maintaind by him. In the event <br />such owner or any customer shall fail to make any necessary <br />repairs to such service connections or pipe within twenty- <br />four (24) hours after being notified to do so, the City shall <br />make such repairs and the cost thereof shall be charged to <br />the owner of said premises or the consumer and shall be <br />collected in the same manner as other bills for water <br />consumption are collected. <br /> <br />5. The City shall warrant the "individual home lift <br />pump units" against normal wear for the designated low lots <br />requiring them. Damage to the lift pump unit caused by the <br />owners' negligence or abuse shall be repaired by the property <br />owner at his own cost. Inducing into the sewer system of <br />lots using said pump units the prohibited substances set <br />forth in Section 210.0218, or substances not normally <br />intended to be induced into the sanitary sewer system, shall <br />constitute negligence or abuse. <br /> <br /> 210.0215 Breaks, Interrupted Service. No claim <br />shall be made against the City of Ramsey for reason of the <br />breaking of any watermain or service pipe or fixture or for any <br />other interruption of the supply, by reason of the breaking of <br />machinery or stoppage for necessary repair. <br /> <br />210.0216 Sewage D*isposal. <br /> <br />1. It shall be unlawful for any person to place, deposit or <br />permit to be deposited in any unsanitary manner upon public <br />or private property within the City or in anY area under the <br /> <br /> <br />
