SECTION <br /> <br />days notice of the time and place where such animal or animals will be <br />sold by posting and serving notices as required for notice herein. If <br />such animal cannot be sold on the day stated, it may sold as soon as <br />possible thereafter without notice. <br /> <br />The Town Clerk shall turn over the proceeds of any sale to the To~vnship <br />Treasurer· On order of the Board of Supervisors, the Town Treasurer shall <br />pay to the owner of such animal the difference between the sale price as <br />stated in Item E, after deducting the cost of impounding, feeding and <br />sales charges, if the owner makes claim for the monies within one (1) <br />year from the date of the sale; otherwise, it shall be forfeited to the <br />Township. <br /> <br />No person may ride or drive a horse after the hour of sunset and before <br />the hour of sunrise along or crossing any public way without appropriate <br />lighting or reflectorized clothing. <br /> <br />No person may ride or drive a horse in any public park, beach, golf <br />course or other public property except within the right-o£-way of public <br />streets and highways, and in areas duly designated as a trail way or <br />hitching area. <br /> <br />The Town Park and Recreation Commission shall designate and properly <br />post those areas in public lands and parks where horses may be ridden. <br /> <br />Every person riding a horse or driving any horse drawn vehicle upon a <br />public roadway shall be subject to those provisions of the Township <br />ordinance applicable to the driver of a motor vehicle, except those <br />provisions which by their nature have no application. <br /> <br />No horse shall be ridden or driven in any manner which would cause <br />undue damage to any hard surfaced road. <br /> <br />No person shall ride or drive any horse upon private property without <br />the prior written permission o[ the owner or occupant thereof. <br /> <br />No person or domestic animal shall interfere with any horse ridden or <br />kept in a lawful manner. <br /> <br />6. HORSEMAN'S COMMITTEE <br /> <br />The Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes the establishment of a <br />Horseman's Committee to assist the Town Clerk in inspection of the <br />premises of those seeking a horse permit, to receive complaints from those <br />aggrieved by horse owners or keepers, to investigate complaints, to <br />advise horse owners against whom complaints have been lodged and to <br />advise the Town Board as to appropriate action. <br /> <br /> <br />
