The School reserves the right to exclude any individual or group from the School property based
on conduct, which it determines in its sole discretion to be objectionable or contrary to School
interests. The City hereby consents to the exercise of such authority by the School.
VI. SPECIFIC USE OF PARK
Athletic field use shall be allowed as described above and governed by the Park and Facility Use
Policy, and the City's established rates and charges, and is understood to be one athletic field at a
time, for an annual fee ($630 in 2023), For example, a softball field may be used for Phy-Ed
during one weekday, and a soccer field another weekday. In the Fall (as an example), one football
field may be used certain weekdays, and Phy-Ed may use another athletic field on other days.
During any period where multiple athletic fields are used (e.g., two fields on a single day), then
the field use fee would double ($1,260 in 2023) for that year.
All athletic fields shall be reserved through the City's on-line reservation system, and the School
must have a representative in attendance at the late Winter athletic field use organizing meeting,
attended by the cities of Anoka and Ramsey, the Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association and others
using Anoka and Ramsey's parks for the upcoming calendar year.
This agreement addresses only the weekday, daytime use of athletic field(s), 8 am to 4 pm by the
School, other park and facility use shall be governed by the Park and Facility Use Policy, or the
Special Event Permit discussed below.
VII. SPECIFIC USE OF PARK PARKING AREAS
It is anticipated that occasional use of the Park's parking lots may be used as an example,
by persons attending the School's regular Friday night football games. This shall be at no cost to
the School however, the School shall monitor any events requiring a Special Event Permit at
the Park (like youth athletic tournaments)to ensure demand for parking spaces by School patrons
and visitors in the Park are minimized. For periods when it is known that Park parking is used by
School visitors, students or faculty, School maintenance staff shall monitor the Park for associated
litter/trash pick-up. The School shall be responsible for paying any damage to the City's property
to the extent such damage is caused by the School's use of the City's parking areas for the
foregoing purposes.
VIII. SPECIFIC USE OF SCHOOL PARKING AREAS
It is anticipated that certain tournaments will occur at the Park, and the City may request
the School allow parking on their North, West and South Parking Lots. It is understood that this
is to occur six or less times per year, and the City would make the request with a minimum 30-
days advance written notice. This parking, if allowed, would be at no cost to the City, and further
it is understood that the School has a Reciprocal Easement Agreement with the property owner to
the east, that may prevent the allowance of parking in one or more of the parking lots and further,
that unanticipated parking demand may occur with little notice, preventing the City Park users
from parking on the School property. In any instances, the City shall cooperate and enforce any
improper parking on the School property that is not permitted. For periods when it is known that
School parking is used by Park visitors, Park maintenance staff shall monitor the School site for
associated litter/trash pick-up. The City shall be responsible for any damage to the School's
2
