The saw has been burdened with maintenance <br />problems the last several years necessitating its replacement. (Saw is currently <br />inoperable) <br /> <br />The cost of a new saw is approximately $750.00. Funding for this new saw could be <br />derived from the fire departments small tools line item budget in the amount of $390.00, <br />with the remainder of $360.00 being a transfer fi.om the Equipment Revolving Fund to <br />the General Fund. The transfer of $360.00 represents the depreciated amount associated <br />with the 1989 K12 saw held in the Equipment Revolving Fund. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Approve attached Resolution #99-12-XXX authorizing the transfer of $360.00 fi.om the <br />Equipment Revolving Fund to the General Fund for the replacement of a motorized <br />circular saw. <br /> <br />Council Action:. <br /> <br /> thon the transfer of <br />Motion to recommend Council adopt Resolution #99-12- 'zing <br />$360.00 from the Equipment Revolving Fund to the General Fund to help fund the <br />replacement of a motorized circular saw. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br />Fire Chief <br /> <br />FC: 12/14/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
