Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #99-12-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $360.00 FROM EQUPMENT <br />REVOLVING FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR PURCHASE OF A MOTORIZED <br />CIRCULAR SAW IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Department is in need of a new saw to replace a 1989 K12 saw that <br />is currently inoperable; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the Equipment Revolving Fund currently has $360.00 of depreciated value <br />associated with the 1989 K12 saw; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the cost of a new saw is $750.00 which could be partially funded with the <br />$360.00 from the accumulated depreciation of the 1989 K12 saw and the remainder from the <br />General Fund Fire Department budget; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, $360.00 would need to be ~ransferred from the Equipment Revolving Fund <br />to the General Fund to help fund the purchase of a new saw. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Staff is author/zed to transfer $360.00 from the Equipment Revolving Fund to the Generat Fund <br />to help fund the replacement of a new motorized circular saw for the Fire Department. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14th day of December, I999. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
