He added that Ramsey is trying to get driveways off
of#10.

Councilmember Hendriksen felt that the Dayton Bridge needs to come across #10.

Mr. Norman distributed a letter to Dayton that he drafted from the Mayor and Council
showing a bridge location.

Upon review of the letter, Councilmember Hendriksen stated he wouid support the letter
with one change and that is designating the western-most location and removing the
eastern-most location from our comprehensive plan.

Mr. Norman stated he meant to do that and he would make this amendment and bring the
letter back to the next Council meeting for signature:

4) County Highway Transportation Issues (East/West Thoroughfares)

Mayor Gamec reported that the plan is to upgrade #116 between #47 and Sunfish Lake
Boulevard.

Councihnember Haas Steffen stated that would be the City of Ramsey, Anoka County
and the City of Anoka.

Mr. Jankowski stated that it has been suggested that a corridor study be done. The City
would have to acquire more right-of-way. The County would participate, paying one-half
of the cost and the cities of Ramsey and Anoka would split the other half.

Councilmember Haas Steffen stated it appears there are a couple of big projects in Blaine
that may not be done now. Anoka County Commissioner Dennis Berg has said that if the
City has a big project in mind, we should look at it now as the money might be available.

Discussion ensued around a map relating to some possible projects. It was stated that
there are no definite plans made yet but that the east/west roads should be a priority. C.R.
#116 is the major priority with C.R. #83 being the second. Councilmember Hendriksen
suggested that #116 should not be put in west of Armstrong Boulevard before the bridge.
Councilmember Haas Steffen stated that to say it all ought to go concurrently is okay
with her.
