and Mr. Jankowski could meet with Mr. Vincent also to discuss the condition of thus <br />road. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted a letter received from Duane and Donna Davis, 6390 - 164th Lane <br />NW, (IP #99-07) who received two notices because they have two pins and they wanted <br />to make certain they will only be assessed once, which they will. <br /> <br />Gene Gustafson phoned in asking about a gas line to which Mr. Jankowski checked out <br />with Minnegasco, and there are no plans for one in the area. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works Kapler explained that this year, the City Engineer reviewed his <br />proposal for street improvements with the entire streets division of the Public Works <br />Department. The Department, knowing of the budget constraints, concurred with the <br />schedule presented by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted a letter from Ronald Marks, 16321 Wolfram Street NW, (IP #99- <br />07), referred to the state statutes and suggested that the City did not include the <br />appropriate information in the notice of the street improvement. City Attorney Goodrich <br />researched the issue and assured Council that staff had followed the correct state statute <br />and that all the correct information was sent out. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Anderson to <br />close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Anderson, <br />Hendriksen and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing was adjourned at 7:56 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at <br />7:56 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked about Rivenwick since there was a concern by residents about the <br />project being done this year. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski stated that the original street was done in 1992 and the second one in <br />1995. Upon inquiry, he responded that one more year will not create a problem, <br />however, the big concern is that we will be behind on the number of streets we are doing <br />per year. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to <br />place a case about the Rivenwick Street Project on the Public Works Committee <br />scheduled for March 16. <br /> <br />City Council/March 9, 1999 <br /> Page 6 of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
