Councilmember Anderson declared if we know what's best, why are we doing a study. Mayor Gamec stated it is because we questioned it. Councilmember Zimmerman stated that one of the concerns is North Fork. Maybe the study will show us more. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that the question they will ask us is if we are having two stations or three. Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to contract with Hoisington Koegler with the modeling that would show us two and three sites. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councihnembers Haas Steffen, Hendriksen, Anderson and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #2: Set Hearing Date for Liquor License Violation Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to schedule the public hearing for the liquor license violation during the regular meeting on April 13, 1999. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hendriksen, Anderson and Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. Case #3: City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan Page V - 18 - a question was raised about this statement. Community Development Director Sherman stated that this statement is in there because all that is not in the urban service area. It does not mean that they would immediately be served. Councilmember Hendriksen commented that it is misleading. Councihnember Anderson felt that "may" will do that. Back a few pages there's reference to what is being talked about. V15 - which section says there will be exceptions, but V18 sounds like there will be no exceptions. Ms. Sherman stated that we can make that language change, just like in V15.
