The Grossleins' are proposing to make some site improvements to
the property before leasing it again. On May 4, 1999, the Planning Commission
reviewed the site improvements proposed and negotiated with Mr. Grosslein for some
curbing on the south and west property line around the new pavement to be laid and
adding some plantings to the rock boulevards along Tungsten and Riverdale in lieu of the
20' green space Code requires along public roads. At the May 11 meeting, some of the Councilmembers expressed concern with the
fact that the proposed site improvements and upgrades did not include installation of
curbing around the existing pavement. Council tabled action on the request until
tonight's meeting to give them an opportunity to inspect the site prior to making a
decision. Ms. Frolik noted that Duke and Dana Grosslein are present.

Councilmember Zimmerman stated he does not have a problem with existing properties
and curb and gutter, but if it is new construction, he feels it should be curbed at that time.

Mayor Gamec stated that Mr. Grosslein is not proposing any new buildings, he is
cleaning up the area and doing some blacktopping.
