Mayor Gamec responded that they will not be required to hook-up, they would still have to pay <br />the assessed fees, but it is being considered to do some research to determine if the interest could <br />be waived. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated that if the City starts deferring the interest rates the burden <br />would then fall on residents to cover the costs. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to table <br />the public hearing until the August 10, 1999, City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Hendriksen stated that a decision needs to be made if other <br />businesses should contribute for an improvement that Waltek is requesting and requested that <br />research be done to determine if the Charter Amendment only pertains to residential properties. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, and Zimmerman. <br />Voting No: Councilmember Anderson. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at 7:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Application for 3.2 Percent Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor License; Request <br />of Hot Stop <br /> <br />Police Chief Gustafson stated that Hot Stop at 13939 St. Francis Boulevard Northwest has <br />properly applied for a non-intoxicating malt liquor license. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Anderson to approve <br />3.2 percent, non-intoxicating malt liquor license application for Hot Stop. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, Connolly, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request for Site Plan Approval; Case of New Life Church <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the City of Ramsey has received a request for site plan <br />approval from New Life Church. The plan proposes to construct a church on the east side of <br />T.H. #47, at 172"d.
