Sunwood Drive N.W.). During site plan review, it was noted that the building pad is encumbered with a drainage and utility easement. The purpose of the easement was to protect the wetland as defined on the A.E.C. plat. As a result of the Direct Enclosures permit from the Lower Rum River Water Management Organization, a wetland mitigation replacement plan has been approved on the adjacent parcel to the east. Therefore, the wetland area on the Direct Enclosures parcel is being filled for a building pad and the City can release the easement. Since the City owns the adjacent property to the east, north and west, there is no need for the standard drainage and utility easements around the perimeter of the Direct Enclosures lot and they also are proposed to be vacated. Direct Enclosures is also dedicating a utility easement across the southeast comer of their lot to accommodate the storm sewer. Citizen Input There was no public input. Motion to by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to close the public hearing. The public hearing closed at 7:54 p.m. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Connolly, Anderson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Council Business Mayor Gamec called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at 7:54 p.m. Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to introduce an ordinance to vacate certain drainage and utility easements on Lot 1, Block 2, A.E.C. Energy Park. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Zimmerman, Connolly, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.
