Presently the contribution on the T.H. #47 project is capped at 80% of the original
estimate of 2.8 million. With the current construction cost estimate at $3.5 million, this could
mean an additional $550,000 in federal funding to the project. He had requested permission
from the Public Works Committee to sign the plans and submit them to MnDOT, which was
done. Mr. Jankowski requested that Council authorize offers in the amount of the appraised or
listed values for the proposed strip-takings.

Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to authorize
offers in the amount of the appraised or listed values for the proposed strip-takings.

City Council/September 14, 1999
