Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: . RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PAID ON-CALL FIRE FIGHTERS WHEREAS, several paid on-call fire fighters began working for the City July 20, 2005 and August 10, 2006 and were subject to a one-year probationary period; and WHEREAS, the new fire fighters will have completed the required one-year probationary period and the necessary training on July 20, 2006 and August 1 1,2006; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at its July 1 I, 2006 meeting agreed with staffs recommendation to end the probationary periods and grant status as paid on-call fire fighters to the following individuals on the following dates: Douglas Olejnicak John Atchison Robert Moser Kirk Hughes Christopher Hanson July 20, 2006 July 20, 2006 July 20, 2006 July 20, 2006 August 10,2006 . NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That, pending satisfactory completion of the probationary periods, the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary periods and grant status as paid on-call fire fighters to the following individuals on the following dates: Douglas Olejnicak John Atchison Robert Moser Kirk Hughes Christopher Hanson July 20, 2006 July 20, 2006 July 20, 2006 July 20, 2006 August 10, 2006 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: . -90- Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the I Ilh day of July 2006.
