<br />IX. Briefly describe the project area. <br /> <br />A. Geographical size - Approximately 80 acres. <br /> <br />B. Number of households or businesses - There are no residential dwellings <br />located in the project area. There is one business that is located <br />within the project area boundaries which is the WALTEK manufacturing <br />firm; There are other businesses which are located within the area <br />that could be serviced by this energy but it is anticipated that new <br />industries would be the ones taking advantage of this low cost type <br />of energy. At this time, it is hard to address this question due to <br />the fact that the options that are provided in this study have not. <br />been agreed upon as of this date. <br /> <br />C. Adequacy of the public facilities Currently, this area of development <br />is served by on-site sewer systems, however, it is in the Urban <br />Planning Area but probably won't be served by City sewer and water <br />until after -the yea~ 1990.unless development so dictates. Explain the importance of this project to your community. <br /> <br />This project is extremely important for the governing bodies, the business <br />community and the citizens of Ramsey.
