<br />1.02 SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM DESCRIPTION. <br />The gravity collection system described in this manual serves the <br />southeastern part of the city. construction of the sanitary sewer <br />system was started in 1984. The system includes only collection lines <br />and does not include any lift stations, on-site disposal systems, <br />treatment facilities, or metering stations. <br /> <br />The collection system discharges into the MWCC interceptor system at <br />two locations, the intersection of Dysprosium Street and Industry <br />Avenue N.W., and on the north side of the Burlington Northern Railroad <br />approximately 1/2 mile east of Sunfish Lake Boulevard. The flow is <br />metered at these tWD locations in metering manholes operated by the <br />MWCC. <br /> <br />The collection system consists of 8"-15" polyvinyl chloride pipe (PVC) <br /> <br /> <br />and 18"-30" reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), and 4' diameter access <br /> <br /> <br />manholes. with 27" round covers. <br /> <br />As-built plans of all sanitary sewer lines constructed are on file at <br />the city Hall, and are incorporated in this O&M manual by reference. <br />A map of the collection system is included in this O&M manual as <br />Figure A.
