<br />I <br />II <br /> <br />Discussion ensued whether or not the PUD complies with City's requirements <br />regarding garages for multiple dwellings and density. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the Comprehensive Plan allows for 15 units per acre. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Carson stated that the PUD is looking at 8 units per acre overall density <br />and the total acreage of the PUD is 49.9 acres. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding sewer trunk line and Mr. Raatikka stated that the <br />Waste Control Commission is ready to start construction as soon as Ramsey <br />makes a commi ttment. Mr. Raatikka also commented that he does not think <br />there is a real firm deadline regarding Ramsey's committment. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Carson stated that he would like Council to review the PUD at their <br />special meeting of November 15, 1983. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Berg advised that this PUD review not be placed on Council's special <br />meeting agenda. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />General consensus is that Council should review the P& Z at their regular <br />meeting of November 22, 1983 and the P & Z public hearing could be conducted <br />at a special meeting on November 29, 1983 or at their regular meeting of <br />December 6, 1983. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that he would like to see some grading plans and <br />lot measurements at the next P & Z review of the PUD. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Case #4: Request To Discuss Wood Piles; Case Of Mr. Tom Minor: <br /> <br />Mr. Minor was not present. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Larry Henke - 8062 154th Avenue NW - Indicated that many people do not take <br />care of their wood storage piles in an orderly manner. Mr. Henke also <br />stated that he is almost sure some people are selling the wood and it <br />does create a traffic flow in the neighborhood. Reconnnended some sort of <br />action be taken or ordinances be adopted regarding wood piles and how they <br />should betaken care of. Mr. Henke also stated that this is not a seasonal <br />problem, it is a year around problem. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />LeeAnn Schriber - Ramsey Resident - Real Estate Agent for Merrill Lynch - <br />Stated that unsightly wood piles detract from valuation of adjacent properties. <br />Suggested that maybe some sort of blind could be required to conceal wood piles. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson stated that persons selling firewood should be required to <br />apply for a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that he doesn't know what the City could do to <br />make people stack their wood neatly. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Henke and Ms. Schriber stated that some order is needed and they would <br />like the persistent eyesores addressed. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hendriksen stated that an important factor to be considered in <br />these cases is the lot size. <br /> <br />1\ <br /> <br />Commission consensus is that for the next regular meeting of P & Z, Staff <br />will provide sample ordinances from other communities, City Attor~ey shall <br />provide lc~;:-= "._~,:;,:li.nes and pE:!'"~0:'""',:::': ~<::11ing firewood in residential areas <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />P & Z/Nove2ber 1, 1983 <br />Pc::-: -- <br /> <br />
