2. Utility Contractors. We acknowledge Section 14 of the Special Provis-
ions, however, due to the extremely short contract period it was just
about impossible to accomplish work between 4 -29 -85 and 5 -4 -85 as the
utility companies were rushing to meet the May 10th deadline. They
were burying cable ahead of the curb machine and then following up
behind the curb. In otherwords we didn't have many places to work.
We lost most of our production for this week due to the abnormal
amount of utility work and request a 3 day extension due to these
unreasonable and unforeseeable delays.
3. Developer. We request an extension of 6 days due to the following:
I. Subgrade not within the 0.2 ft ± as specified.
2. Delays caused by developer's landscaping contractor and other
building construction operations.
3. Scheduling delays with curb & gutter in front of homes under
construction.
AN EQUAL OPPOR TUNI T Y EMPL 0 YER
 - —
s ^,
— • GRADING
• ROA D UCTION
• SEWER & WATER
• EQUIPMENT RENTAL
'
14777 LAKE DRIVE
FOREST LAKE, MN. 55025
PHONE 612/464 -4500
June 29, 1985
D `
1
I ..
JUL
- 3 1985 ! I
Mr. Peter R. Sewer and Water Contractor. At the preconstruction conference it
'
was stated that the sewer & water contractor would begin work on
April 8th and would need approximately
2 weeks to complete work on
149th. Work actually started on April
15th with testing still being
performed on May 6th. In addition 142nd
was closed on April 29th
'
for the installation of sanitary sewer
and watermain. We request an
extension of 8 days due to interferences by the sewer & water
contractor.
2. Utility Contractors.
