<br />Feratin~ ic <br /> <br /><.'45e :lre <br /> <br />Counc i 1 memb e r <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following-resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88-_ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County is responsible for the allocation and <br />timely expenditure of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urb-an Development; <br />and <br /> <br />IffiEREAS, the City of Ramsey receives an annual allocation of <br />CDBG funds from Anoka County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County has requested communities receiving <br />annual allocations of CDBG funds to submit preliminary <br />applications for expending these funds for Fiscal Year 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, eligible activities for CDBC funds include public <br />service activities. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Ramsey apply to Anoka County for <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 1988 to <br />be uaed for public service activities such as assisting with <br />transportation for senior citizens in Ramsey. <br /> <br />2. That a copy of this resolution and preliminary project <br />application request form be forwarded to the Anoka.County <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the day of , 1988. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />
