The Commission should schedule a special <br />meeting to address unfinished business Iran this March 1 agenda. <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />schedule a special Planning and Zoning Commission meeting for March 1/, <br />1988 at 7:30 p.m. <br />Notion carried. voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, <br />Howell, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners <br />Howell and Terry. <br />The Commission directed Ms. Norris to request the Anoka County Engineer and <br />DNR to pnysically inspect the plats of Rambosek Red Oak Estates and Oakwood <br />Hills prior to March 1/, 1988. <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to table <br />the toliowing cases until the special meeting scheduled for March li, 1988: <br />Case #6: Request for preliminary plat approval of Rambosek Red oak <br />Estates; case of Mr. Jon Eambosek. <br />Case #7: Request for preliminary plat approval of Oakwood Hills; case <br />of Mr. David Schulte. <br />Mr. Carl Anderson - 6331 153rd Lane - Stated that in his opinion the <br />information submitted by Mr. Tom Guyer does not comply with City Ordinance <br />requirements for wild animal license applications. M.r. Anderson noted that <br />Mr. Guyer has not submitted a site plan drawn to scale; that he questions <br />the accuracy of dimensions indicated on Mr. Guyer's survey; that a list of <br />Mr. Guyer's qualifications have not been submitted; Mr. Guyer cannot meet <br />required setbacks or minimum lot size; he has not provided information <br />regarding how animals will be safely transported when outside of the <br />secondary enclosure; no building permit was obtained for the construction <br />of the bear enclosure. <br />Mr. Tim Klingbeil - 15430 Suntish Lake Blvd. - Stated that Mr. Guyer cannot <br />comply with 9U% of the ordinance requirements and inquired as to the <br />process Mr. Guyer will have to proceed with to obtain necessary variances. <br />Noted that Mr. Guyer does not comply with.the requirement for a primary and <br />secondary enclosure.and signage warning the public of the presence of <br />bears. <br />Mr. Guyer replied that his survey dimensions are as close to accurate as he <br />could get considering the amount of snow on the ground at the time he made <br />the measurements. Mr. Guyer stated that he realizes he cannot meet the <br />requirements of a wild animal license and that is why he is pursuing <br />variances along with the license.
