PLANNING AND ZONING WWnSSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANCKA OGUNI'Y <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special meeting on <br />Thursday, March 3, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowtnen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to continue business f ran the March 1, 1988 agenda. <br />Members Present: Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Also Present: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />Members Absent: Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the special Planning and Zoning Commission <br />meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />Chairman Zimmerman noted that the Commission is taking too long to handle <br />cases on the agenda and requested that commissioners come to the meetings <br />prepared to take action and also that citizen input during commission <br />discussions will be limited. <br />APPROVAL OF AGEDDA <br />The Commission consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />Case #Z: Bequest For Conditional_ Use Permit To Construct An Advertising <br />Sign; Case of Mr. Tim Shay: <br />Chairman Zimmerman noted that there were no public comments made at the <br />March 1 public nearing regarding Mr. Shays request. <br />Ms. Norris noted that there is an existing 9 sign on the subject <br />property. <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of tact. <br />Mr. Shay stated that he plans to lease the existing sign and if he is <br />permitted another sign, it would be used to advertise the D'Angelos <br />Special Planning and Zoning Commission/March 3, 1988 <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />1�y <br />
