<br />Subd.13. MU-PUD Mixed Use Planned Unit Development. TIle intent <br />of this district is to provide for a range of retail and service commercial, office. and <br />residential uses that are organized and planned in a comprehensive manner. The MD. <br />PUD District is created for development seeking alternative regulations that embodv <br />more traditional neighborhood desif!n (TND) principles to promote a better integration of <br />uses that might tYDicaJly be separated and to provide for an adequate mixture of <br />commercial and residential uses. <br /> <br />Subd.14. PUD .Planned Unit Development. The intent 0[thi5 district is to <br />provide a district which will encourage the following: flexibility in land development, <br />diversity in housing types and prices. efficiency in use of public infrastructure, the <br />conservation of enerf!v.preservation of unique land characteristics. and efficient use of <br />land. open space. and public facilities. <br /> <br />Subd.15. Pllblic/Ou~lsiPublic District. Tile intentofthis district is to <br />provide. for public and private recreational uses, government buildings and t~lcilities. and <br />schools. . <br /> <br />Subd.16. Town Center. The intent of this district is to create a focal point in <br />the comm1..U1ity that embodies the plinciples oftransit-oriented and mixed-use <br />development. The town center embodies a distinctly different development pattern and is <br />comprised of sub-districts including mixed-use core. commerciaL workplace. and <br />neighborhoods subdistricts. <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. R lR Residential. The intent of this distriet is to <br />accommodate single family dwelling units on suitable land outside of the Urban Service <br />Afe.cr:. <br /> <br />811bd.2. R TV Residential. The intent of this district IS to <br />accommodate sin;;le family dwelling units in the Urban f....rea. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. R 2U Residential. The intent of this district IS to <br />accommodate two family dw'elling units in the Urban .'\.rea. <br /> <br />8abd. 4. R 3U Residential. The intent of this district is to <br />accommoda:te multiple dwellings, multiple dwelling complexes, and apartment multiple <br />dwellings (and office and commercial de';01opments in accordance with planned unit <br />development requirements) in the Urban ,'\.reu. <br /> <br />8ubd. 5. MR Maltiple Residential.
