<br />1 <br /> <br />to fund acquiring right-of-way and relocating the Burlington Northern <br />railroad tracks and prepare layouts that would indicate the impact of <br />various alternative railroad track alignments on properties in the area. <br /> <br />g) Fire Safety Committee request for a meeting with City Council - <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the Fire Safety Committee is requesting a meeting <br />with City Council to review their report dated December, 1987. <br /> <br />Council consensus was that the City Council's organizational meeting will <br />be scheduled for Monday, January 11,1988 and discussion of the Fire Safety <br />Committee's report will be included on the agenda. <br /> <br />h) Report on the annual meeting of the Ramsey Landfill Board - <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the Ramsey Landfill Board consists of <br />representatives from Anoka County and the cities of Anoka and Ramsey; <br />purpose of tbe Board is to manage the metbane gas project at the Anoka <br />Regional Sanitary Landfill. The 1988 budget for that project was approved <br />at the annual meeting. <br /> <br />i) Autborize councilmember to review bills for approval - <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley requested that one of the councilmembers be authorized to <br />approve payment of bills received between December 12 and December 31, <br />1 987 . <br /> <br />") <br />-,t,o <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson <br />autborizing Mayor Gary Reimann to review and approve payment of bills <br />received between December 12 and December 31, 1987. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />1) Adopt resolution approving second half bills for the montb of December, <br />1987 - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Resolution #87-280 approving second balf bills for tbe montb of December, <br />1987. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #87-280). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca-and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />j) Adoption of resolutions confirming improvements at Central Park - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #87-281 receiving bids and awarding of contract for <br />driveway and parking lot improvements at Central park to Elk River <br />Landfill. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #87-281). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson.
