' <br /> <br />Mark Graham started the meeting by providing a brief overview of the project. This project <br />includes grading and construction to provide for baseball fields and (1) soccer field. Work will <br />also include placement of fencing, aggregate line infields and turf establishment. As shown by <br />the plans, a water irrigation system will also be constructed as well as a parking lot facility <br />including concrete curb and bituminous surfacing . Work will also include grading to enlarge a <br />wetland on the west side of the project. The contract price is $323,691.00. <br /> <br />The Contractor for the project is Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. Dan V ollhaber of Forest Lake <br />Contracting provided a preliminary work schedule and list of all sub-contractors and suppliers. <br />This list is attached. The contract completion period for this project is 90 days with all work <br />except sodding to be completed by December 15, 1997 and sodding to be completed by May <br />15, 1998. <br /> <br />The next discussion was regarding existing utilities. Denise Johnson from Minnegasco called <br />prior to the meeting and indicated that she would not be able to attend, but wanted to know if <br />gas service would be needed at this time. Steve Jankowski, Ramsey City Engineer, indicated. <br />gas would be needed later when buildings or concession stands are constructed. Mark <br />Mudrick of Anoka Electric Cooperative (AEC) indicated that they were extending single phase <br />utilities on the north 'side of 153M Avenue to serve the Alpine Estates residential dtvelopment. <br />Mudrick also indicated that they would extend single phase and three (3) phase power along <br />the south side of 153M Avenue to serve this project site. At this time, only single phase service <br />will be needed to serve the irrigation system, but three (3) phase service will be needed in the <br />future to serve ball field lighting.
