Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE <br />A PART -TIME BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />WHEREAS, approximately 20 applications were received for the Part-time <br />Building Maintenance Worker position and ten applicants were interviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the interview panel selected Don Meyenburg to advance in the <br />selection process for the part-time Building Maintenance Worker position; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Meyenburg successfully completed his background check and <br />pre- employment physical and drug screen. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Accept staff's recommendation to hire Mr. Don Meyenburg as a Part-time <br />Building Maintenance Worker at an hourly wage of $14.35. Mr. Meyenburg's <br />start date will be on or near August 28, 2006. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 22 °a day of August, 2006. <br />
