Add item (5) to Section 9.15.05(a) to state that if the <br />existing tower is not suited to have a second user and <br />rebuilding the structure may be more expensive than building <br />a home tower, then a new tower would be allowed. Remove <br />the language "radio frequency (RF)" from Section 9.15.07(b). <br />Add the language "unless of monopole design" to Section <br />9.15.07(c). Amend Section 9. 15.09(a) to state that the tower <br />height limit in a commercial district is 165 feet. Change the <br />time limit in Section 9.15.13(b) for the removal of unused <br />portions of towers to 12 months. Add item (b) to Section <br />9.15.14 that would allow replacement of existing light <br />standards to accommodate antennas through a building <br />permit and administrative review. Add item (a) to Section <br />9.15.19 to exempt radio frequencies from local electrical <br />standards as they must comply with federal regulations. <br />Prepare this proposed ordinance for a public hearing. <br /> <br />Williams Investments request for rezoning: The Planning <br />Commission recommended adoption of the Findings of Fact <br />with the following amendments: (9) "That the proposed <br />zoning amendment will not substantially adversely impair the <br />use or market value. .." (10) "That the proposed zoning <br />amendment will not change the essential character of the <br />area." The Planning Commission recommended approval of <br />the request to rezone Lot 3, Block 4, Riverside West to R-l <br />Urban Residential. Forward to City Council. Applicant <br />requested tabling until July. <br /> <br />Tom Kurak's request for a CUP to grade and export soils was <br />tabled until the completion of the public hearing which <br />reconvenes on May 6, 1997. <br /> <br />K.C. Land Company's request for rezoning (Alpine Estates) <br />was tabled until the completion of the public hearing which <br />reconvenes on May 6, 1997. <br /> <br />Jake Barthold's request for rezoning (Apple Ridge) was <br />tabled until the completion of the public hearing which <br />reconvenes on May 6, 1997. <br />
