(13) "That the <br />proposed zoning amendment will not change the essential <br />character of the area." The Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of Good Value Homes request to <br />rezone the proposed plat of Sunflower Ridge to R-l Urban <br />Residential. Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />4/7/97 The Planning Commission directed the developer to proceed <br />to apply for preliminary plat approval of Sunflower Ridge <br />contingent upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter <br />dated 3/27/97 and obtaining proper zoning. If major <br />changes occur, the item should be brought back to the <br />Planning Commission for further review and consideration. <br /> <br />4/7/97 The Planning Commission recommended adoption of the <br />proposed ordinance (as amended at the public hearing) to <br />amend Chapter 9 of the City Code which will establish <br />regulatory controls on the siting of antennas and towers. <br />Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />4/7/97 Commissioner Deemer suggested consideration of amending <br />City Ordinance to classify nudist camps as Adult Uses. <br /> <br />4/7/97 Schedule a special Planning Commission meeting on <br />Monday, 4/21/97, at 5:30 to discuss a CUP for Super Bowl <br />relating to the relocation of their volley ball sand courts. <br />4/1/97 The public hearing of Tom Kurak's request for a CUP to <br />grade and export soils was continued. Schedule the <br />reconvening for May 6, 1997. <br /> <br />4/1/97 The public hearing of K.C. Land Company's request for <br />rezoning Alpine Estates was continued pending City <br />Council's decision as to whether it is necessary to formally <br />rezone the property from R-l Rural Residential to R-l Urban <br />Residential.
