Schedule the reconvening for May 6, 1997. <br /> <br />4/1/97 The Planning Commission directed the following <br />amendments be made to the proposed towers ordinance: <br />Eliminate the phrase "except for radio emissions" in Section <br />9. 15.04(c)(iv). Section 9.15.05(a)(2) will read "The planned <br />equipment would cause interference materially impacting the <br />usability of other existing or planned equipment at the tower <br />or building as documented by a qualified professional and the <br />interference cannot be prevented at a reasonable cost." <br />Section 9.15.05(a)(3) will read "Existing or approved towers <br />and buildings within the search radius cannot accommodate <br />the planned equipment at a height necessary to function <br />reasonably as documented by a professional engineer." <br />section 9.15.08 will read ". . . provided that the site or rear <br />property line abuts another non-residential zoned property <br />and the tower does not encroach upon any easements." Add <br />language to the ordinance to only allow replacing or <br />repairing non-conforming towers when they are destroyed to <br />no more than 50% of their replacement cost. With regard to <br />Section 9.15.17: the first sentence should read "Private <br />antennas designed for reception of television and reception <br />and transmission of radio signals, . . .n <br /> <br />4/1/97 Commissioner Deemer noted he did not refer to the word <br />"west" in the 4th paragraph, page 8, of the March 4, 1997 <br />minutes. <br /> <br />4/1/97 The Planning Commission recessed the 4/1/97 meeting until <br />Monday, 4/7/97 at 7:00 p.m. Notify the applicants that their <br />cases have been continued. <br /> <br />5/6/97 The public hearing of Tom Kurak's request for a CUP to grade <br />and export soils was continued along with the relating case. <br />Schedule the reconvening for June 3, 1997. <br />
