.. ..h__..._____....._.~._,.__.._._..__________.______.__._.__.'__H._"_.'_"__~".

2. The second part of this segment is approximately 450 lineal feet long,
beginning at Riverdale Drive, approximately 600 feet west of Tungsten Street
NW, and proceeds south, across private property, terminating atthe west end of
Rivlyn Avenue. Following, this route is preferred over continuing down Riverdale
Drive to Tungsten Street, because of the commercial buildings in that area,
belonging to Grosslein Beverages. Much of the area on Tungsten Street,
between Riverdale Drive and Rivlyn Avenue is similar to a parking lot.

This segment is on private property; however there is a utility easement in this
location for underground utilities. One difficulty with use of this easement is that
a shared driveway is also in the same location. Moving the driveway may be
necessary, unless a different trail easement is purchased; This segment will
require purchase of trail easement over the existing utility easement.

3. The third part of this segment is approximately 1,000 lineal feet longodjacent
to Rivlyn Avenue, starting at the west end of Rivlyn Avenue and ending at the
east end of Rivlyn Avenue. This segment would include a 10 foot bituminous
trail on the north side of the street.

Rivlyn Avenue has a right of way of 66 feet and a paved surface of 28 feet,
leaving approximately 19 feet of available space for a trail on each side of the
roadway. Grades on the north side of the street are more conducive to
construction of a trail than the south side would be.

Considering that there is approximately 19 feet of available right of way, there
should not be a need for permanent or temporary construction easements
through this area.

4. Cost Estimate and Summary of Work Items
Utilify Relocation = $5,500
Parking Lot Modifications = $3,000
Fence Relocations = $3,000
Driveway Relocations = $5,000
Pedestrian Crossing Striping and Signs = $2,000
Trail Construction 4,950 LF at $22 = $ 1 08,900
Design/Engineering/Contingency (15%) = $19,110
Total Estimated Cost = $25.74 per LF = $146,510
5.
