Construction of this segment will be difficult because of existing
yard grades between Benton Street and the north intersection with Y oho
Drive.

Retaining walls will be needed over approximately 450 lineal feet of this
segment with an average wall height of 2.5 feet.

Construction of this trail ~egment will include minimal clearing and
grubbing, the relocation of utility pedestals, along with construction of
1,000 feet of 5 foot wide trail.

g. . The final alternate segment is south of Highway 10/ east of Fairoak
Avenue. The alternate trail location would go around the south and east
sides of Wrightcare Auto Repair, to avoid building a trail along the
Highway 10 right-of-way.

This business currently has the entire front portion of the property paved,
which is also used by many drivers as a frontage road. The existing traffic
patterns in the front location will make a trail route difficult to delineate.

Using this alternate around the back of the Wrightcare Auto Repair
would provide a better connection from Fairoak Avenue to the proposed
trail along the cemetery. This alternate location would require permanent
trail easements, clearing of trees. and possibly significant retaining wall
because of grade issues

Page 20

38
