Other Systems <br />Where unusual conditions exist, special systems of treatment and <br />disposal other than those specifically mentioned above may be <br />employed, provided: <br />INSPECTION <br />a. Reasonable assurance of performance of such system is <br />presented to the council; <br />b. The engineering design of such system is first approved <br />by the council; <br />c. There is no discharge to the ground surface or to <br />surface waters; <br />d. Treatment and disposal, of wastes is in such a manner so <br />as to protect the public health and general welfare; <br />e. Such systems comply with all applicable requirements of <br />these standards and with all local codes and ordinances; <br />f. Design criteria is reported to the agency within one (1) <br />month after installation of the system, where use of such <br />system is allowed by the council; <br />g. Performance of such system be monitored and reported to <br />the agency annually for a period of at least five (5) years <br />after installation, including continual monitoring of water <br />used (See Section 150.01.4H Subd. 2). <br />Setback Requirement <br />No setback requirement shall be imposed in the Urban Area, except <br />in cases where drainfields are installed on property sloping <br />greater than four (4) feet horizontal to one (1) foot vertical. <br />In cases where said slopes are greater than 4:1, no drainfield <br />trench shall be located closer than six (6) feet from the ground <br />surface as measured horizontally from the trench bottom. <br />New Construction <br />The plumbing inspector shall make such inspection or inspections <br />as are necessary to determine compliance with this chapter. No <br />part of the system shall be covered until it has been inspected <br />and accepted by the plumbing inspector. It shall be the <br />responsibility of the applicant for the permit to notify the <br />plumbing inspector that the job is ready for inspection or <br />reinspection, and it shall be the duty of the plumbing inspector <br />to make the indicated inspection within forty -eight (48) hours <br />after such notice has been given. It shall be the duty of the <br />owner or occupany of the property to give the plumbing inspector <br />
