MN 55303-6197 <br /> <br />Re: Amendment to Contract/or Comprehensive Planning Services. <br /> <br />Dear Jim: <br /> <br />For the last month or so we have been revieWing the draft plan with the Planning Commission and City <br />Council in various workshops and meetings. Our services for this task are outlined in our original <br />contract as Ta$7.1. We had budgeted two meetings for this puxpose and have held those meetings on <br />September t Olh and October 81b. Another workshop has been scheduled with the City Council and <br />Planning Commission on November 171b to focus specifically on Land Use and Transportation. While <br />this meeting is not in our contract. we feel it is necessary given the change in City Council and the need <br />for the City Council. Planning Commission and staff to develop a sound understanding of the plan, its <br />process and implications. <br /> <br />We are requesting that the City approve an amendment to the contraCt for any future additional meetings <br />that are planned and or may be needed in the future. This would include the workshop on November 171A <br />and any additional meeting other than the Planning Commission Public Hearing. <br /> <br />The amendment to the contract includes additional meetings at a fee not to exceed $500 per meeting. <br />This fee includes preparation time. expenses, travel time. meeting attendance and any summary work that <br />may be needed. <br /> <br />Please let me know if the City is in agreement to this amendment. <br /> <br />s~ 8rU <br /> <br />Brad Scheib, AlCP <br />Planner <br /> <br />CC: Cindy Shennan, Community Development Director <br />Fred L.
