<br />CASE # <br /> <br />CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />FROM R-2 MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO B-1 BUSINESS; <br />CASE OF ARTHUR AND ELIZABETH RAUDIO <br />By: Sylvia Frolik, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you may recall, on September 2, 2004, the Planning Commission conducted public hearings <br />regarding Arthur and Elizabeth Raudio's request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and a <br />rezoning to reclassify their property back to B-1 Business from R-2 Residential. The subject <br />property is Outlot E, River's Bend 3rd Addition. The following items are enclosed for your <br />information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />State statute requires that property owners within 350 feet of the subject property be notified of <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />On September 2, 2004, the Planning Commission adjourned the public hearing related to the <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment and continued any action on the request until September 16. <br />The public hearing relating to the rezoning request was continued to September 16, at which time <br />the applicant was to provide additional information. To date, City Staff has not received any <br />additional information from the Applicant and Staff anticipates that this matter will be resumed <br />at the regular meeting in November. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends continuing the rezoning public hearing to the November meeting of the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to continue the rezoning public hearing to the regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission in November, 2004. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />Asst.
