Project ~ Right-of-Way Acquisition 1996 Construction County Road #57 and 1998 Jaspar Street Construction Uranium Street to 1999 Anoka City L~ts . 8-4 - Riverdale Drive Fundin2 $ 30,000 - TIP $ 305,000 - MSA $ 100,000 - Assessment $ 125,000 - TIP $ 560,000 Riverdale Drive N.W. is the south Highway #10 frontage road projected to run from the Anoka City border to approximately Puma Street N.W. Currently a section exists in the Alpaca Estates subdivision at about Armstrong Boulevard N.W. Also, a section exists between Garnet Street N.W~ to an area close to the Anoka City line. The next section due for completion within the plan time frame is that section from just west of Garnet Street N.W. to Ramsey Boulevard N.W., which will be completed just north of the Rivenwick subdivision located between these two points. It is expected that this 1997 project will be an assessment project with that portion above the normal residential or commercial equivalent being funded by MSA funds. Proiect ~ Riverdale Drive N.W. from Garnet 1997 Street to County Road #56 Fundin2 $ 455,000 - Assessment- $ 190,000 - MSA $ 645,000 8-5 - Trunk Highway #47, Intersection Improvements The poor condition of Trunk Highway #47 coupled with the development pressure along this corridor has resulted in a study for this segment of roadway to address the future needs relative to access control and improvements. It is anticipated that some signalization of key intersections, possibly two, will be recommended. Although some MnDOT cost participation might be possible, this CIP anticipates all funding for this signalization be by the City. In addition, trail improvements will greatly increase pedestrian safety along the heavily trafficed commercial areas between the City of Anoka and 142nd Avenue. These trail improvements can economically be incorporated with.~e County's 1996 intersection project of County Road #116. Finally, $200,000 is to be set aside to -encourage a more timely upgrade of the C.S.A.H. #5 intersection which is currently scheduled beyond year 2000 on the County's Five Year plan. -372- I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I..
