Planning and Zoning Commission has recomrrended approval of the request for a six month ~riOd. Mr. Hartley read a letter from Robert BrCMn of Production Design Products, Inc. dated February 2, 1988 in which opposition to the request was expressed. Council indicated reluctance to approve a permit that would resolve one mess while creating another one. Councilnember Cox noted that a:>BG funds have already been funneled Vla the Economic Development Company Revolving Loan Fund into dismantllng and removing old buses fran 14050 Basalt. Mr. Goodrich noted that the City has legal nghts to request that the buses be removed from 6106 Hwy. #10 Motion by Councilrrember Councilrnember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt Findings of Fact 0194, amended as follows, regarding Mr. Roger Suter's request for a conditionel use permit: (Please refer to findings of fact tile for Findings of Fact 0194.) . Add Item #24 to indicate that the City recently expended CDBG funds to remove debris from 14050 Basalt Street N.W. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Bayor Reimann, Councilmernbers Sorteberg, Cox, DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None.
