Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca and <br />Absent: Councilmembers Sorteberg and Cox. <br /> <br />Case #6: Consider ProDosal Of Anoka County To Encourave The <br />Construction Of The Rum River Bridve: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that an agreement has been assembled that states that <br />Ramsey will loan Anoka County $650,000 provided the County will acquire <br />right-of-way and e~sement~ necessary to construct the Rum River Bridge, <br />sell bonds in 19B8 to construct the bridge. actually construct the bridge <br />in 1988-89 and reimburse ~msey the $650,000 before July 1, 1990. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />extend Ramsey~s proposed agreement encouraging acceleration of the schedule <br />for the construction of the Rum River Bridge to the Anoka County Board of <br />Commissioners and requesting that the Board take it under consideration as <br />soon as possible. <br /> <br />-- <br />j <br />'" <br /> <br />Motion carried. He was chief author of Lemon Car Bill and a major rev~s~on to it <br />was accomplished in the 1987 session which requires notifying the <br />consumer of arbitration hearings. <br />b. Chief author of bill establishing criminal penalties for illegal <br />transportation and du~ping of hazardous ~aste. <br />c. Chief author of bill to continue the acid rain program in <br />Minnesota. <br />d. Chief author of bill to create a new noxious weed. <br />e. Accomplished legislation for storm shelters for residents of <br />mobile bome parks. <br />f. Worked on funding for the new 610 corridor. <br />g. Chief author of Take a Kid Fishing Weekend in Minnesota. <br />h.
