Hartley noted that entering into an agreement with Anoka County for the <br />construction of road improvements to County Road #116 does not guarantee <br />that the Rum River Bridge will be built as scheduled in accordance with the <br />County's capital improvement plan but it may enhance the bridge maintaining <br />it's current priority listing. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilnanber Cox and seconded by Councilnember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution #88-43 authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to enter <br />into a joint IXYWers agreement for the construction of road improvements to <br />County Road No. 116 with the County of Anoka. (Please refer to resolution <br />file for Resolution tB8-43). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />J:',;drson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann, Councilnembers Cox, DeLuca and <br />Absent: Councilrrernber Sorteberg. <br /> <br />r~~e #10: Review proposed Stipulated Agreement For Railroad Crossing: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich reviewed the conditions of a stipulated agreement which has <br />been drafted to establish Day~on-Port as a public crossing and Puma Street <br />as a private railroad crossing. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilnember Cox and seconded by Councilm:mber DeLuca to approve <br />the tenns and conditions of the stipulated agreement as presented. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Goodrich noted that the City would enter into an <br />agreement with Burlington Northern for a private crossing at Puma and the <br />City will enter into an agreement with those persons that will be <br />authorized to use that private crossing. Mr. Raatikka noted that both <br />owners of pro};erty between Hwy. #10 and the railroad crossing have been <br />contacted regarding easements; a price has not been negotiated. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
