NO. 10 TO ANDRIE <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 88-21 <br />By: Peter Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On May 10, 1988, the city Council adopted Resolution No. 88-80 <br />establishing l53rd Avenue N.W. between U.S. T.H. No. 10 and 169 and <br />Andrie Street as a Municipal State Aid Street (MSAS). <br /> <br />The City has recently received an order from the Commissioner of <br />Transportation to establish a pUblic highway railroad crossing over <br />the Burlington Railroad as shown on enclosed Exhibit "A". The City <br />has also received an order from the Minnesota Transportation <br />Regulation Board to close Puma Street. <br /> <br /> <br />The first step in accomplishing the above orders is to acquire the <br />right of way for the extension of 153rd Avenue. Enclosed is a <br />resolution authorizing the City Engineer to prepare the right of way <br />plans for the extension of 153rd Avenue.
