During connection of this main on site it was
found that the existing watermain in the right of way side was at 853.47 feet, deeper than the plans had
shown. Because of this the water table was above this connection level and dewatering services were needed
to achieve the connection. This proposal reflects the costs of this additional dewatering service.
Manhole No. 1 Install and Dewatering:
Agreement between Magney Construction and the City of Ramsey to remove the install of Manhole No. 1
from Magneys scope of work. The City preferred a private contractor to complete this work in order to meet
a timeline. Final price value as agreed upon by both parties.
Proposal No. 036 (RFI 056) — EIFs Base Flashing:
Additional EIFs base flashing is required on the North and East sides of the reservoir to prevent moisture
from running down the base of the WIFs and getting behind the concrete faces insulation panels. Contractor
price reflects material and labor for this work.
Proposal No. 037 — Filter Masonry Wall Cut:
During construction of the masonry walls for the filter rooms at elevation 128'-3", a 4-inch dimensional
variance between the masonry layout and the precast panel alignment resulted in the walls being constructed
longer than required. To ensure proper alignment with the precast panel running east to west along grid line
9, the south end of the masonry walls were modified. Specifically, the east masonry wall of the pipe gallery
was cut back by 4 inches, and the west masonry wall by 2-1/2 inches. Due to the proximity of this wall
section to a doorway, additional structural support was required to support the hollow core roof system.
Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.
6901 East Fish Lake Road, Suite 184 • Water Tower Place Business Center • Maple Grove, MN 55369 • 763-463-5036
