The director of the <br />9 agency shall soli~it expressions of <br />10 interest by private industry for <br />11 utilizing waste tires as a fuel <br />12 source. The selected facilities shall <br />13 assist in conducting test burns, making <br />14 measurements, and preparing a report <br />15 describing the test results and the <br />16 feasibility of using waste tires as a <br />17 long-term fuel source for various types <br />18 of facilities. The report shall <br />19 identify the collection, <br />20 transportation, and processing of waste <br />21 tires needed to use the facilities. <br />22 The director of the agency shall submit <br />23 the report to the legislature and the <br />24 governor by December 31, 1984. " <br /> <br />25 The appropriations and reductions in <br />26 this section are added to the <br />27 appropriations made in Laws 1983, <br />28 chapter 301, section 25. <br /> <br />29 Sec. 14.
