G.ot Something To Say?

Remember Citizen Input. The Ramsey City Council,
Economic Development Commission, Park Board, Planning
and Zoning Commission, Airport Commission and Charter
Commission all have a "Citizen Input" time set aside at the
beginning of each meeting. "Citizen Input" permits citizens
to address Councilor Commissions without first having to
get on the agenda. ..'
If you have something that you would like to bnng to the
attention of Council or Commissions, don't" forget "Citizen
Input".
Flintwood Second Addition,
located to the west of the
former Ramsey City Hall be-
tween Hwy. 47 and Industry
Blvd., is well on its way. The
project will contain 104 larger
single family dwelling sites, 76
units of courtyard housing and
2 commercial lots. Lot prices
range from $12,900 with all im-
provements. in and paid.
Development of Flintwood Se-
. cond Addition' will be in
phases, with Phase I begin-
ning this construction season
and including 40, units of
courtyard housing and 49
larger single family dwelling
, sites.
Courtyard Housing ..
A Unique and Increasingly
Popular Concept
Courtyard housing is the
newest concept in single fami'
Iy homes in the North Subur:

ban area. Courtyard housing
consists of 4 units of housing.
on individual single family lots
with a common driveway to
serve the 4 un its, and private
driveways coming off the com-
mon driveway. In Flintwood
Second Addition, the homes
built on courtyard lots will
have architectural controls
which will greatly enhance the
styles and compatibility of the
housing. Th~re will ~Iso be a
homeowners association for
the courtyard housing at a fee
of $20/month, to cover the cost
of snow removal on the com-
mon driveway and basic lawn
care. Courtyard housing is be-
coming very popular, as evi-
denced in Eden Prairie re-
cently, because it allows for
more affordable single family
ho.using by way of smaller lot
sizes.
