.Ramsey Community School Halloween -Party

Ramsey Community School
Halloween Party was to begin
at 6 p.m., October 26, but at
5:30, g'hosts, goblins, and
things that go bump in the
night were beginning to line
up. At 6:00 we opened the
doors to a flood of what turn.
ed out to be 1,800 ghoulish
creatures. First they got their
tickets, trick or treat bags,
numbers for the costume con-
test and thE:n they were off to
the games, Fun House and
hay ride.
Number one on the list for
most was the Ramsey Lion's
Fun House, - for others -the
games and prizes. The young
tricksters went to sit on Bert.
and Ernie's lap and also to get
that free sucker. For every-
one's enjoyment was HO-HO
The Clown, back for the se-
cond year. He performed
magic for kids, young and old,
and put smiles on all who wat-
ched. Chuck E. Cheese was
also there to shake hands
with the kids.
The costume contest was
again a hard job for our

judges. 'Our judges this year
were. the .candidates for
mayor and city council. We
want to thank them all. The
winners received ribbons and
prizes. We're sorry that we
don't have all their names.
Mona O'Donne" won first
place for Adults and a free
airplane ride from Gateway
Flight. The Grand Door prize
was a fr.l(e night at the Anoka
Plaza Hotel which Russ
Kyllonen won. The carved
Pumpkin contest was won by
Ryan Mulchay who got a gift
certificate from Jimmy B's.
We also had a special prize in
one of our, truck or treat bags -
a certificate from Broadway
Pizza. Thank you to all_ who
entered.
At 9 p.m.. the party was over
and the clean up began. It
went quickly because of all
who stayed to help. Thank
you! You made our job a lot
easier. Also, thank you to
everyone who helped run the
games, donated pumpkins,
cakes, candy and helped set
and clean up.
