Munkholm <br />Lions Clubs plan and con- <br />duct a variety of community <br />and humanitarian projects. <br />The Ramsey Lions Club is a <br />member of. the world's largest <br />and most active service club <br />organizations, seeking out and <br />helping the needy in Ramsey, <br />the country, and the world. <br />The Ramsey Lions Club rhas <br />been aiding your community <br />for twelve years as of this <br />date. <br />Last October 8 was Lions <br />World Service Day for-clubs <br />around the world. Ramsey <br />Lions Club honored this <br />World Rec'ognition day by in- <br />dividual efforts by each of the <br />Ramsey member's towards <br />. helping someone in need. <br />October 26 found the <br />members of the club donating <br />their time in providing the an- <br />nual spook house at Ramsey <br />Elementary School for their <br />Halloween Fun, nights. Lion <br />Dick Hawkins headed this im- <br />portant project to help pro- <br />vide fun' to the youth of <br />Ramsey. <br />November 14 the club <br />members, headed by Lion <br /> <br />"'" <br /> <br />Wanted: volunteers <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Moms, Dads, Grand- <br />parents, etc. Anyone who has <br />the time and energy and <br />would like to be a part of an <br />ever growing Volunteer Pro- <br />gram at' our school, contact <br />Kathy Warner at 753-4039. <br />Please join us, .you'll find it- <br />fun and very rewarding for <br />yourself and the students at <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />~ <br />\ <br />II <br />I <br />\ <br /> <br /> <br />Dennis Anderson, sponsored <br />a Bingo night for the Maple <br />Manner nursing home with' <br />prizes and refresnments. <br />Helping senior citizens is an <br />important part of the Ramsey <br />Lions community involve- <br />ment, and this is just one of <br />many projects meeting this <br />need. <br />Lion Glen Rychner heads <br />our Scouting committee and <br />reports that the Ramsey <br />Scouting program is strong <br />with excellent leadership. The. <br />Lions club of Ramsey spon- <br />sors the ,local Scouting pro- <br />gram in hopes of providing a <br />strong community program to <br />the youth of our city. <br />These are only a few of the <br />many projects the club is <br />working on.
