The Animal <br />Control Officer must be able to provide the follow- <br />ing services and/or facilities: <br />1) public street patrol on a scheduled basis for <br />small animals running at large. <br />2) On-Call service for emergency small animal pick-up. <br />3) Appropriate licensed, humane and properly zoned <br />facilities for the impounding and boarding of small <br />an imals . <br />4) Appropriate vehicles capable of transporting <br />small animals. <br />5) public liability insurance including compre- <br />hensive automobile liability in an amowlt of at least <br />$100,00- per claimant and $300,000 per occurrence. <br />6) Comply with M.S.A. 181.59 which prohibits discri- <br />mination in regard to employees or applicants for <br />employment. <br />7) Have available veterinary services for impounded <br />animals. <br />8) Employ personnel competent and trained in the <br />handling of animals. <br />Anyone wishing to apply for the position of Animal <br />Control Officer may do so by submitting a detailed <br />propos al to: <br />Lloyd G.
