RESIDENT TO RESIDENT As I watched a young child scramble to keep up with her mother in a par- king lot I recalled something I'd read along time ago. Next month is your turn, see the deadline column for procedure in turning in your ideas and hints. --Sue VanWagner Cable TV The Quad City Cable Commission meets regularly on the fourth Wednes- day of each month. These meetings are held at the Anoka City Hall on the second level, from 7-9pm.. THESE MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. If you have any questions regarding cable TV feel free to con- tact councilmember VanWagner at 753~4034. In the near future we will be looking at ways for the re- sidents of Ramsey to utilize the access studio. Gamec. Animal Control Officer BERG OIL CO., INC. WHOLESALE AND RETAIL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the City of Ramsey is taking proposals for anyone interested in acting as an Animal Control Officier in the City. The Animal Control Officer must be able to provide the follow- ing services and/or facilities: 1) public street patrol on a scheduled basis for small animals running at large. 2) On-Call service for emergency small animal pick-up. 3) Appropriate licensed, humane and properly zoned facilities for the impounding and boarding of small an imals . 4) Appropriate vehicles capable of transporting small animals. 5) public liability insurance including compre- hensive automobile liability in an amowlt of at least $100,00- per claimant and $300,000 per occurrence. 6) Comply with M.S.A. 181.59 which prohibits discri- mination in regard to employees or applicants for employment. 7) Have available veterinary services for impounded animals. 8) Employ personnel competent and trained in the handling of animals.
