SPRING CLEAN UP AHEAD

Upon waking up the other day I hear a rumor to the
effect the Robins are coming. It was hard for me to
believe when I looked outside and saw it snowing one
more time. Of course, with the Robins come spring
and with spring come the annual "spring clean up."
When the snow begins to disappear it will uncover
an assortment of surprises and" goodies". Everyone
should be planning their annual "spring clean up" to
make Ramsey an even more desirable place to live.
Taking pride in our property is a community
betterment project and we all know Ramsey is one of
the finest communities around to live in. LET'S ALL
WORK TO HELP KEEP IT THAT WAY.

I, ME, YOU, HE, SHE, HIM, HER,
All are terms to describe one
person--
US, WE, THEY, THEM, OUR
All are terms to describe two or
more pesons--

The key term is person - one person is the
common denominator to describe all these
adjectives. One person with an idea, desire
or need - finding out that other people feel
the same - becomes two or more persons.
These people working together toward a
common goal make their ideas, desires and
needs become a reality. That reality is what
makes our City, State and Nation what it is
or could be.
You may say to yourself, I'm only one
person. History has shown us that
everything that has ever happened in this
world started with one person. Have you
ever been in a room with ten people who all
had the same thought at the same time and
spoke up exactly in unison. No way. One
person said - "Hey, I'd like to see this
happen" or "This friend of mine has a
problem with this." Next thing you know,
someone else has a similar feeling or
knows of someone else who has that type
of problem. An idea is born.
That idea is developed and cultivated,
then begins to grow. Within a period of time
that idea becomes a reality--it may be
.helping one person, a City, a State or a
Nation. It all depends on what magnitude
the idea might have. An elderly couple who
needs help with painting their home will not
have national impact, nor will a national
campaign for MS or MD help get the elderly
couples home painted. Each idea or project
has importance and each started with one
person.
That one person is who I am directing
this article towa.rd. That one person who
has an idea, desire or need. I am offering
you the opportunity to change that idea,
desire or need into reality.
You might say, I'm just too busy..1 don't

have the time. I have an excuse for not
doing. But who is the one person. I-that can
take a little time-forget the excuses and
beome the person to say.l-did this or-I-had
that idea or most important-I-feel good
about myself for helping others.
The Ramsey Jaycl:les are looking for
FAMILY FUN DAY

DRAWS A LARG E CROWD

February 9th, turned out to be a grand
day for all who attended Ramsey's Annual
Family Fun Day. The mid-winter version of
this annual event turned out to be very
successful. The prizes and games. the
refreshments. good fun and friendly
conversation were all part of the carnival
day.
The Ramsey School Advisory Council
wishes to thank all those volunteers who
worked so hard to make the day go
smoothly and enjoyably for all.
